School Partnership Programs
Parent Citywide focus is to build partnerships will local school districts, community based organizations, and other various resource agencies that are youth related. These relationships consist of high schools credit retrieval programs for students that are lacking and approaching graduation requirements.
Parent Citywide is constantly developing community partnerships/relationships with various local private businesses and organizations to enrich and enhance students in class experiences with real-time and current information. Collaborative efforts from Help of Southern Nevada, Clark County School District and local Metro Police Departments along with private businesses assist in mentoring students and give volunteering opportunities in the community.
Partnerships and relationship building connect students, parents, schools, corporations and businesses and create understanding that all are stakeholders of students success.
Business Plan Competition
High School students create their own businesses, research all aspects of that business. Compile a complete business plan with all components and executive summary, obtaining cost of business licensing and incorporation cost. The winner of the competition wins a $500-$1000.00 scholarship.
